      Cleat Class - Elite

The best of the best. Elite soccer cleats are the cleats professional players wear on-field, made using the highest quality materials and featuring the latest technologies and innovations. The premium option for players who demand the best possible performance from their cleats.

      Predator

Perhaps the most famous cleat of all, the Predator has been a dominant force in soccer ever since its debut in 1994.

There have been many different models of the Pred over the years, some similar to one another, others wildly different. The core concept, though, has remained the same throughout the decades: the Predator allows you to strike the ball better, in every respect.

That idea goes all the way back to the original Predator. Dubbed “100% legal, 0% fair” in its initial ad campaign – a nod to the cleat’s rubber forefoot fins and the unreasonable advantages they gave for generating power and swerve – the ’94 OG Pred was a true gamechanger in cleat design and a precursor for much of the technology we see on cleats today.

From the Accelerator and Mania back in the day to the Mutator, Edge, and Accuracy of recent years, the Predator’s combination of a sturdy, supportive feel, comfortable fit, and, of course, its excellent passing and shooting capabilities, has made it a favorite with players across the globe. In short, if you want to control the game like Beckham, Zidane, Gerrard, Del Piero, Pogba, Bellingham, and many more, the Pred is the natural choice.

      adidas

Many of the best players in the history of the game have trusted adidas soccer cleats to help them reach their full potential, including Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, and the one and only Lionel Messi.

The 3-Stripes’ pioneering outlook has seen them remain at the forefront of cleat design ever since founder Adi Dassler first started making footwear in the 1920s.

From longstanding leather classics like the World Cup and Copa Mundial to more modern innovations like the all-conquering Predator, their cleats are always built to combine comfort and performance.

The adidas range includes the X for speed, the Predator for control, and the Copa for touch. Whichever cleat suits your style, whether you like to lace up or go laceless, you’ll find options available for every type of surface and every level of play.

      One for the Years!

Since I started playing, I've always been a fan of the predators. They are the boots that I purchase most of the time through the years. THESE are definitely one of the best I have worn since the Predator Freaks .1s Nostalgic but innovative is how I would describe it and Adidas did it again. From the ads to the players wearing them on the pitch. Cannot deny these are some of the best cleats I have worn in the last 10 years. Comfortable, Light, and the Grip on the cleats are PERFECT. Only con was I had to go a half up on size and took 2 sessions to break in. Not serious things but these are my own experiences. The hype is actually real this time around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure why predators have gone away from leather? Cheaper, lighter and more aerodynamic using synthetic material? What about having the shoe mold to your feet and a little added protection for the player’s feet? I guess I was hoping this predator had leather. I couldn’t even get my foot in as I like a snug fit and I like to have my foot stretch into it. No molding these and if you get stepped on while wearing these, it’s going to hurt worse than if you wearing a leather shoe. Unfortunately, these are amongst the worst Predator versions I have experienced. Gave 3 stars cause I love the color scheme and design, and obviously not the plastic material. Adidas can do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly concerned buying white boots, that they would quickly look grubby. However, they do clean pretty well. There is some slight staining around where the upper meets the sole after playing on grass, and they do look quite dirty after playing on rubber crumb. However, I clean them each time and so far they have come up pretty white again, so you’re still getting that fresh white look on the pitch. I’m sure they’ll start looking tired eventually, and quicker than a dark pair, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they cleaned up after each use.

These shoes are a fantastic blend of style and comfort. The sleek design makes them perfect for both casual and formal wear. Made with high-quality materials, they offer excellent durability. The cushioning provides great support, making them ideal for long walks or standing for extended periods. The fit is true to size, ensuring a snug yet comfortable feel. Additionally, they have good traction, which is useful on various surfaces. Overall, these shoes are a solid investment for anyone looking for both fashion and functionality in their footwear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn countless versions of predators. These are my least favorite and by far the least comfortable. They are at least a quarter size smaller than the Accuracy in the same size (which were comfortable and playable out of the box) and the heel on these won’t break in and gives me blisters after any short wear, can’t wear for matches yet - something I have never had before in adidas boots (predator or X). The fins are very sticky, possibly too sticky. They are lighter, but that doesn’t help much when I can’t wear them.

At first I was really excited upon trying them out in store, but there is one major flaw about this boot that really does give a let down feeling.. The tongue never stays in place, it slides towards the outside of the boot which causes the laces to start rubbing on your foot, at the same time it gives the boot a weird look… In my opinion definitely purchase the predators with the fold over tongue. Do not go with the cut tongue version.

The quality on these cleats is not great. I routinely wear predators when I play and the generation before these were great and lasted me over a year of constantly play. These cleats lasted me about 3 weeks due to the sole plate starting to split off by the toe, an issue I have never had before. Hoping the next generation is better because I really like the feel of Adidas for soccer.

Nice shoe, but really not durable. They don't last a season. The plastic toes comes off and the sole seperates. I was stupid enough to think that when this happened to the first pair, it was just a lemon. I bought a second pair and the same thing happened. It has to be a manufactuting problem. I'm switching to leather shoes...I wore addidas since the 1990s, but avoid this one.

      Ground Type Guide

Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your cleats, but also to avoid the risk of injury.

Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.

      Firm Ground

Cleats with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural short-grass surfaces that is firm underfoot but may be slightly wet.

Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot.

FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn.

FG cleats are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction.

FG cleats used on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
