Built for uncatchable speed, PUMA Kids Ultra 2.1 FG/AG Soccer Cleats boast a lightweight MATRYXPRO woven upper with polyester yarns providing extra support when you sprint forwards to max out your acceleration. For dribbling and finishing, the Ultra’s upper features a GripControl Pro coating to give you complete command of the ball.Underfoot, the new Pebax SpeedUnit outsole takes its inspiration from PUMA’s outrageously fast running spikes – you know, like the ones Usain Bolt used to wear – to deliver extreme straight-line speed while also allowing quick changes of direction.

Cleat Class - Club

Popular with players of all levels, Club soccer cleats feature the essential tech you need to perform on-field combined with a more durable material construction. Ideal if you’re looking for a longer lasting cleat that won’t let you down on gameday.

Ultra

PUMA worked closely with elite-level pros during its initial development, utilizing their feedback along with insight from their top sprinters in other sports. And by top, we really mean top – the soleplate takes inspiration from Usain Bolt’s running spikes.

The Ultra’s also where PUMA employ their latest material tech, incorporating technologies such as MATRYXEVO and ULTRAWEAVE in the upper to give you the perfect combination of lightweight comfort, support, and durability.

First introduced in 2020, the Ultra continues the legacy of the evoSPEED – the hugely popular PUMA speed cleat of the 2010s – and boasts some suitably rapid players among its fans. Blazing-fast wingers Christian Pulisic and Kingsley Coman both wear the Ultra Ultimate, as does one of the few defenders that can keep up with them, Kyle Walker. If you fancy your chances against those three, get yourself a pair of Ultras and switch on the afterburners.

Puma

PUMA’s soccer history goes back over 70 years, and the list of legendary players that have chosen to wear them is just as long. To name only a few, we’re talking Eusebio, Pele, Maradona, Matthaus. And now, Neymar Jr.

All five have wowed spectators wearing perhaps the most iconic cleat of all: the PUMA King. Having been tweaked and refined over the years since its introduction in 1968, the King’s now available in a lighter, more streamlined design that’s engineered for modern playmakers.

The PUMA range also includes the agile Future Z and the superfast Ultra, both of which use the latest tech to provide lightweight performance that lets your skills shine.

Ground Type Guide

Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your cleats, but also to avoid the risk of injury.

Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.

Firm Ground

Cleats with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural short-grass surfaces that is firm underfoot but may be slightly wet.

Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot.

FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn.

FG cleats are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction.

FG cleats used on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
